Thursday- bACK
Very good day today. I was dead set on setting a pr on rack deads...no pun intended lol. So I was going to go in there and not leave without pulling 655 for 4-5 reps. Well, I was feeling really good and decided to put 675 on there. So I got it no problem for 3 reps, and then, on the 4th rep, my damn strap broke, so I didn't have the straps for the rest of my workout. I thought that I'd be noticeably weaker in my other lifts, but suprisingly was not. I hope I can keep my strength for the duration of the prep.

Well, I wont be doing the military pressing anywhere in my workout other than 1st any more. I like to move quickly, so I need to do them 1st to be able to handle my normal weights. Still, a great workout.

Saturday- Calves and abs

Not much today. Just a calve and ab day. Did a lot of running around and stayed up pretty late, so I had 3 shakes today. I got in my protein blend from trueprotein.com of 50/50 whey isolate/micellar casein. It's not bad, not really that sweet, but it's thicker and the casein keeps my full longer than the straight whey isolate did. I def recommend that blend for a dieting bodybuilder.

How are you feeling so far on the Keto diet? I noticed your carb intake is under 10 g some days that insane, im not sure if I could even function on that(ha ha). The lowest I go is about 100 carb and I still feel tired on that, you got shredded though last year with the keto so keep it up man.

I feel great. I hit ketosis around Tuesday afternoon, so it's all smooth sailing from here out. I'd hate myself on 100 carbs, because I'd be having crazy blood sugar swings, but it's stead on keto. I probably get more carbs, but I ignore the carb content in eggs since I can't get an accurate number. Plus, when you add up the calories from 6 protein(24) and 5 fat(45), that's 70 right there, so there isn't any room for a carb in there, assuming those cartons are correct lol.

Wow, felt great today in the gym. Felt like shit all day, but I chewed up an E-911 before I went and it had me going apeshit. I was ready to rock within 15 min of taking it. I don't usually take stims, but I really needed the extra boost today, and it paid off.

Felt decently strong, but my wrists were a little tender today. I tried to be a little cocky with the flat db presses at the end, but I only got a few reps with them. Oh well, I'll lighten up a little next time, if I do them.
